1. Eat normally and brush your teeth before surgery.
2. Continue prescribed medications and follow your doctor’s instructions.
3. Inform your dentist if you have blood disorders, take anticoagulants, or use bisphosphonates.
4. Avoid colds, smoking, alcohol, and (for women) makeup on surgery day.
5. Signal any discomfort by raising your left hand or humming; the dentist will pause before you speak.

1. Medication: Take prescribed meds; painkillers only if needed.
2. Diet: Eat light, lukewarm foods; avoid chewing on the surgical side. No alcohol or smoking.
3. Oral Hygiene: Avoid brushing the surgical area for 24 hours; rinse with mouthwash and don’t touch the wound.
4. Ice Packs: Apply intermittently for 1–2 days to reduce swelling.
5. Sutures: Removed 7–10 days post-surgery.
6. Activity: Rest and avoid strenuous exercise.
7. Implant Care: Don’t touch or bite hard foods with visible implants/crowns; keep them clean and report any discomfort or loosening.
